"Fish" 3D Wall Art

One of the first examples of creating 3D wall art from frozen food packaging attached to automotive part packaging developed into this fish shaped design.
It was interesting to note the square pieces cut out become triangle pyramids when shaped into the third dimension.

Cardboard Cutout

This piece is an experiment with negative space using pieces cut out of automotive air filter packaging to create these visually appealing lines.

Stencils

The thicker material is the perfect platform for making durable stencils

Most food packaging like cereal boxes, frozen pizza packages and TV dinners provide the perfect card stock to use as stencils.

Depending on the kinds of paint used, the cardboard can even become more durable as layers are added

Cardboard Mosaic

Titled Fajr, this packaging cardboard project represents my interpretation of the view outside my window when I wake up for the dawn prayer.

The early daybreak casts just enough light to be able to discern where the background sky begins to separate from the trees & shrubs in the foreground
